
Meet Team USA: Water polo
The U.S. Women's Water Polo Team enters the 2016 Rio Games as reigning Olympic, World, World Cup and World League gold medalists. They qualified for the 2016 Olympics by finishing in the top-four in a qualifying tournament in the Netherlands in March. They went undefeated through the qualification tournament and outscored their opponents 123-35.
2016 U.S. Olympic women's water polo roster:
By defeating Canada in a semifinal match at the Pan American Games in 2015, the U.S. Men's Water Polo Team qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics. The U.S. went on to defeat Brazil in the Gold Medal Match for their sixth straight Pan American Games title.
